Q:  How long does Repellex Deer and Rabbit Repellent Last?

A: Repellex Deer and Rabbit Original Formula is one of the longest lasting repellents in the market.  It typically will last for 60-90 days on a plant surface, but if under continually wet conditions will need to be reapplied more often.  You should alway spray monthly to treat new growth with fast growing plants.

Q:  Can the Deer and Rabbit Repellent be mixed with the fungicides in my pump sprayer that I use on my roses?

A: The quick answer is yes/no.  Repellex products are made with environmentally safe ingredients that tend to mix well and cause few issues with most other garden chemicals in a pump sprayer.  The problem is that we do not test every brand of fungicide or other lawn and garden chemicals, so we cannot speak for every interaction that may or may not happen when mixed.  If you don’t know how the products will interact, we do not recommend mixing the repellent with other chemicals.  If you still want to try mixing, we recommend testing only on plants your are willing to be deemed “test subjects” in case a negative interaction happens to the plants.  Please use your better judgment and understand that our label application guidelines are the best recommendation we can give you to ensure your plant safety.

Q:  I applied the repellent but I saw the squirrel back on the birdfeeder again?!  What am I doing wrong?

A: You are doing nothing wrong.  Most repellents are designed to invoke fear and be an irritant.  Squirrels have not fear!  Repellents for squirrels are designed to be irritants that create behavior modification.  If a squirrel learns that being in the area that makes them sneeze or irritates their nose, over-time, they start to find other places to be.  Reapplication is a key to success and over weeks you should see desireable results.  We recommend to reapply the repellent after each seed filling, after a rain or per bottle listed recommendations.
